🖥 Set up Courtyard

Courtyard prices come from the real Courtyard app, running in an Android emulator on this computer. Setting it up is one double-click. It never falls asleep, never drops off Wi-Fi and needs nothing plugged in, which is what makes an overnight run of a few hundred cards finish on its own.

The first run downloads about 2 GB and takes a while, then never again. Everything lands in android-tools inside your Icevyy TCG folder, and running the file again is always safe.

Start it. One file, every time, first run or later: double-click START-EMULATOR.bat in your Icevyy TCG folder.double-click START-EMULATOR.command in your Icevyy TCG folder.
On a computer that has never run it, it downloads the Android emulator itself (about 2 GB, once) and then starts it. No separate installer, no Android Studio, no Java. Leave the window open; it finishes with “Android is up”. If a download drops, run it again and it carries on from where it stopped.
Put Courtyard on it. The one step that cannot be automated: in the emulator window sign into Google, install Courtyard from the Play Store, then sign into Courtyard. Sign in with your own Courtyard account, the same one you would use on a phone, so values and saved collectibles are yours. Run the start file again afterwards and it will confirm Courtyard is there.
Check it before you rely on it: in that folder run node verify-emulator.js. This matters: the emulator can look perfectly healthy while Google silently blocks the Courtyard login, and this is the only thing that catches it.
Use it: open 💰 Pricing and pick any Courtyard basis. That is all. The emulator is used automatically whenever it is running, and the row at the top of that tab says whether it is.
Stop it: double-click STOP-EMULATOR.bat.double-click STOP-EMULATOR.command. Safe at any time. Closing the window does not stop it.

First time only. macOS will not run a file that arrived from another computer until it is marked runnable, and it also quarantines anything copied in from outside. One paste into Terminal clears both, and the double-click works from then on:

If the folder is somewhere else, change the cd to match. Nothing else about the Mac setup differs.

If something's wrong

Google sign-in or any page fails inside the emulator. That's Android's Private DNS fighting the emulator's DNS, not your antivirus. Set Private DNS to Off in the emulator's settings and restart it with the start script (it passes its own DNS server).
Lookups have got slower. Restart it. Most of a lookup is the bot reading the emulator's screen, and that read gets slower the longer the emulator has been up: measured after ~15 hours of running (through an overnight batch) it took 4.2–4.7 s per screen read, and ~2.8 s on a fresh boot (about 40% quicker, several times per card). Worth doing before any long run.
Don't give it more CPU or RAM. It's tuned to 4 cores / 4096 MB on purpose; this computer only has 8 CPUs, and raising it to 6 cores / 8 GB made a lookup go from 32 s to 202 s because the host ran out of memory.
Pricing says it is not running. Start it with the file above, then click ↻ Re-check on the Pricing tab. If it still says no, run node verify-emulator.js: that catches the case where the emulator is up but Google has quietly blocked the Courtyard login.

Which Courtyard account is it?

Pick the one your Courtyard account is on.

The two versions of the Courtyard app genuinely differ, so this is not cosmetic:

The Scanner tab. It sits in the same slot on the bottom bar on both: a standard account labels it Scanner, while the premium app labels that same spot “Rewards” and leaves the button itself unlabelled. The bot taps the labelled tab when there is one and otherwise works the position out, checking each time that it actually landed on the scanner. Everything past that point (the manual-entry button top-right, the cert box, Recent Scans) is identical.
Confidence. Standard shows one to three circles; premium prints a number out of five in the row. Read off each card as it comes back, so the dots you see always match what Courtyard actually showed. A card Courtyard has no value for reads N/A on both.
Buy status. Only the premium app ever marks a card NOT BUYING, and Icevyy ignores it anyway, so you can buy those.

Which version you get is tied to the device, not the login. Signing out does not change it, so you cannot switch it just to check.
Overnight runs for several people can mix accounts. Put @name (premium) or @name: normal above someone's certs in the Pricing box to override just their cards.
